A fallen rose torn apart,
The evil one tries to impart,
To hurt and to steal,
To destroy and to kill.

Wrenching heart of vulnerability,
Far beyond her capability.
Tears like dewdrops on petals,
Forms the story on stained glass panels.

Unearth from deep within,
It spills of darkest sin.
Petals fall to whispering wind,
All but point to nearest kin.

Angels marvel at roses’ wonders,
But human eye only sees decay.
Scents of beauty raised in praise,
Yet humans see not angels’ face.

One week of perpetual "bliss' lying in bed. Imagine a hibernating creature in tropical humid sweaty Singapore. That's me. I was in bed for 1 whole week plus plus after coming back from Aussie. Reason being that I had fallen sick after one night of sleeping at Randwick Racecourse at 5 degrees Celsius.

I went to Aussie with the aim of being God's light to others and for God's revelations in my life vocation. Religious? Married life? And by God's grace, through different people brought to me by the Holy Spirit, he revealed a bit of His plan for me...=)

I do miss Aussie quite a bit. Especially my host family. 6 of us who stayed with them agree that this host family ought to be given THE BEST host family award if there ever existed one. I miss a bit of the weather, though not really cuz it is too cold. Blue mountains was 0 degrees celsius. Wa, I nearly froze if not for the chimney fire which kept me warm. Summer in France suits me better. Hee. And most of all, the spiritual inputs and experiences as the Holy Spirit put me to the test several times to use the gifts He has given me.

One thing that I really regret though,
-Not being able to give the Pope a card that both Wan and I had written.
I guess it was not time.
