    I've no heart to continue marking anymore...The more I stare at the papers, the worse the results are =( Wonder whether it's my fault. Or the setter's fault. Or the girls?

    Went church visiting today with Paul and company. Was my first time at the Cathedral of Good Shepherd and it was such an honour to have the Archbishop as the celebrant for mass. When the scene for the washing of the 12 'disciples' feet was re-enacted with the Archbishop washing 12 of the congregation members, I couldn't help but try to picture Jesus doing that centuries ago. Remembered what Father Luke said during Lenten Vigil last Saturday about churches in other countries who took in 12 of the poorest vagrants in the city to wash their feet during the re-enactment scene. The meaning behind it was so simple yet so complex.

    No longer called slaves.."Love one another just as I have loved you."

    After that, we went to the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, then St Joseph Cathedral...thereafter, our last stop was Our Lady of Lourdes. In all the stops, I prayed that I would learn something from each visit. And I did!! =)

    Myrrh (eh, i believe it's spelt like that..i think!) - One of the 3 gifts presented to Jesus on His birthday. Symbolism of death and the sacrifice and love he had for us when he died on the cross.

    Burning candle - Like the flame, His love for us is fierce and strong. Warm it is, waiting for us to see it and feel the warmth of His nearness and His passion for us.

    Suddenly thought about what happened on Saturday during Lenten Vigil. I never thought that I'd have the past knocking on my door for many nights to date. Better yet, I never thought that things would turn out the way they did on that day - with God's grace...(^-^)

     -Yours truly ;
